The M2-100 allows the PC user to locate USB V1.1 peripherals up to 130 feet (40m) from the processor with a simple and easy to install point-to-point USB cable. Works fine on all USB 2.0 host system ports as well for USB 1.0 and 1.1 devices.
With an upstream Type A plug and downstream Type A receptacle, it is a plug n play connection that has the USB camera, scanner, or printer online and running almost immediately. There is no special software required - the cable emulates a generic USB hub in the Operating System: Windows 98 up, Apple Mac OS8 up, Linux, Sun Unix and Sun Solaris, HP Unix, etc. with USB support - no software or drivers required.
